Message | Looking from an international perspective, we are more likely to be effective diplomatically (and any military engagement requires diplomacy) if we are willing to deal with the cultures we are in contact with. If we wish to end wars quickly, we must be allowed to work with them, and many don't even allow women to fight. Segregated units does increase the chance of a unit being assaulted and taken prisoner, yes, but on a larger scale, we need to save as much human life as is possible. We know that many do not believe human life is worth anything, (sometimes less than animal life! See: DSP on killing animals and abortion) however, for the sake of saving ONE life (but we believe in the long run it will save millions) we will support this bill. May it never be necessary is our hope and prayer. |

Message | OOC: No, but you make bills just to vote against them, as opposed to real legislation. That's bad enough. |

Message | OOC: There is quite a bit of difference. Besides, the onyl reason I do that is because in terms of civil rights, military and the environment there are'nt anything I can make a bill to vote yes on. |
