Bill: Call for early elections, May 2608

Details

Submitted by[?]: Christian Hedonists of Gaduridos

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: January 2609

Description[?]:

We, the Christian Hedonists of Gaduridos, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus with the purpose of stopping undesirable attempts to coup our state with a "Higher Thinking" that shows absolutely no care for the people of Gaduridos and the history of our fine nation.

Therefore, in an effort to install our leaders in another mandate of honour before those snobes at the UHT try and snatch some seats.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
