Bill: AFFS 029.2608 Responsibility in Legislation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Anti-Federalists of Free Sekowo

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2609

Description[?]:

Due to the recent influx of bills which have been rejected even by the party proposing them, we, the Anti-Federalists of Free Sekowo, propose this act, to introduce responsible legislation to the Folkstmma. If a Legislator introduces a bill which is odious to the party presenting the bill, to the point of the party voting against said bill, the party must explain why such ridiculous legislation comes from their own ranks, against the wishes of party leadership. This will save the taxpayers' money, and provide for the more important issues facing Sekowo to be properly addressed.

Failure to comply will result in a party being banned from the cabinet for the space of three terms.

OOC: Positioning can be controlled by RP. That is, to say, that if you want to become more secular, give me a buzz. The bills can be placed by *gasp* communicating with people! Believe it or not! You can actually talk to people to resolve issues! I know, shocking! I think this can allow for more mature roleplay.

Ya know, apart from you and NPP, no one really ever had a problem with them, except for IC, but that was for a different reason.

MessagePositioning bills are OOC though, so it's an OOC matter not IC.

MessageUmm.... I've always treated every bill as IC. So unless there's a moderator ruling on positioning bills, then I'm going to say, just RP it out with someone else.

I mean I've always though it was obvious they were OOC.

MessageI make positioning bills, even if I expect them not to pass, with the stances I believe in. If you need things to vote against, I'll give them to you. Honestly, I will. There's no need to screw with everyone else's positioning. I'll make the bills en masse.

MessageI'm relatively sure you can find somebody who disagrees with you on about every point, Iori. :P AFFS is right, ask around and somebody will be happy to make a bill tailored to what you need. Helps out everybody else in positioning, also.

Well I'm covered on economic and military things, but what about civil rights stuff?
I mean there don't seem to be alot of them that everyone disagrees with.
