MessageWe were asked to propose this for ratification, however we do not support it as we believe that it will hurt Hulstria's large shipping industry and several of our nation's cities as major world ports.

Message"I agree with my honourable colleagues in the KHP. However, it is my belief that not only does this treaty threaten the Hulstrian shipping industry, but it could also jeopardise our nation's domestic railways companies. The treaty entails ceding control over portions of our railways to this new institution, which I believe would seriously infringe the Hulstrian companies' rights. Additionally, it threatens to redirect Hulstrian rail traffic from the traditional East-West routes along the new trans-Dovani routes. However, even if that were not enough to cause us to reject this treaty, the treaty saddles the Greater Hulstrian government with the responsibility to help fund the construction of new rail lines in lands that are not our own with little or no prospective benefit for our people."

ToDebating the Ratification of the Trans-Dovanian Railway
Message"The Kurui remain unmoved by this. Hulstria should be consulted on the terms and conditions, route, benefits and obligations of such a treaty before it was set. This treaty is binding in the wrong sense of the word; We should send a signal to these sleepers that our terminal statement will derail the project, until we get better connections to gauge our opinions - And woe betide them if they let off steam."

ToDebating the Ratification of the Trans-Dovanian Railway
Message"The TCP not only will vote no to this treaty, we scold those outsiders who beleive that this will benefit our economy. Not only will it cost millions of Crowns, it will be at the cost of thousands of dockhands and shiphands who have made our nation a household name and a leading nation in the shipping industry. This railway will also be at the expense of Hulstrian railways. We will vote "No" to this treaty."
