Bill: Protection of Rights

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2610

Description[?]:

Scientifically/medically, an unborn is not considered alive until it exists the mother's body, and since it is not alive it does not enjoy any rights that come from being alive. Thus it is important for us to protect the right of the mother to choose whether or not to have an abortion rather than deny the mother that right and not protect any rights by doing so (because the unborn don't have rights).

Random fact: Characters are considered to be "owned" by the player who first mentioned or created them. In practice, players may share responsibility for role-playing a character, but ultimate authority rests with the owner.
