Bill: Sturm und Drang - New World Order (revised)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2609
Description[?]:
Once again we present a pro-Monarchist, pro-Immeressent name change. Once again, as a consitutional amendment, this would require a full 2/3 vote to pass, but we're willing to test the waters again. We suggest the name of the nation be changed to the "Immeressent Likatonian Interregnum". |

Message | As a party that advocates both freedom of religion and the rights of the people, the Berosian Party feels that proclaiming our country as pro-monarchist, and pro-a-certain-religion does not accurately portray the beliefs of our people. As such, we cannot advocate this name change. |

Message | The Berosian party are willing to tack whichever way they like. This nation IS pro-a-certain-religion, and has been for centuries. We've been a monarchist state, on-and-off, for even longer... and, here's the rub - the parties that have been keenest on perpetuating those historical traditions (for want of a more accurate phrase, one could call them Likatonia's REAL 'conservatives') have consistently been re-elected, over and over, to the highest offices. You say it "does not accurately portray the beliefs of our people"... but it looks like "our people" disagree. |

Message | If the name is to be changed, it should be to something in english. |

Message | Firstly - In what way is this 'not English'? Secondly - why? 'English' isn't the lungua france of Likatonian peoples, why should it impact their name? |

Message | We notice the TCP keep registering this complaints... and then never explaining. It's a little tedious. There's nothing 'foreign' or difficult to comprehend here. |
