Bill: Two-Fold Plan - Rehabilitation and Education

Details

Submitted by[?]: Radical Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2609

Description[?]:

Particular emphasis must be placed on education and rehabilitation, and creating a sense of community and society which only national government can do so.

Rehabilitation is not without its merits, and this must be brought about through government agencies. A secular, non-partisan society is the best way for multi-religious communities to meet in an unbiased and neutral ground, where they can discuss ideas and common goals... these places are our schools, universties, local government and state institutions.

By utilising these areas, and using them to educate, we can avoid the need to use the extra safety precautions put in place.

There must be a consensus within Parliament to ensure that violence does not spread to a national level, and we do not promote a violence culture. This societal construct can only be achieved through education.

Internal Affairs Minister

MessageThis is an outrages attack on Religion using the current crisis we face due to one agressive cult. Instead of attacking peacful religions get rid of the violent cult of Islam. We call on all parties to oppose this bill which is abusing the current situation to attack religion as a whole.

MessageWe cannot use the violence in Lirona as an excuse to begin suspending religious freedom. We hardly believe that discouraging religion is the appropriate response.
