Message | As, previously stated, we do not believe that we should steal from paul to give to peter, especially when it's because of a child that peter helped to make but cannot afford. |

Message | Exactly, there is no monetary price on the love for a family. But just like any other investment, you should be prepared for the consequences. If we responsible parties want to have a balanced, limited spending budget, than we have to take out the welfare system. |
Date | 07:21:03, July 21, 2008 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Child Welfare Act |
Message | On the other hand, the argument is often made that our workforce is getting older, and we have less 18-32 year olds proportionally than ever before. As a consequence, we're heading towards a situation where our economy runs into a stonewall of people living longer, and paying less into the system(s) that support(s) them. What we REALLY need, is MORE babies. We should increase child-benefits, as an incentive program. |
Date | 19:10:10, July 21, 2008 CET | From | Traditional Conservative Party | To | Debating the Child Welfare Act |
Message | Welfare policies are to be handled by local governments. By passing this bill the federal government would still have the same amount of decision power as before. |
Date | 19:11:15, July 21, 2008 CET | From | Traditional Conservative Party | To | Debating the Child Welfare Act |
Message | We are strongly against any form of welfare being provided by the federal government, but the federal government shouldn't restrict local governments rights to provide it if they wish. |

Message | "What we REALLY need, is MORE babies." Banning abortion, perhaps? |

Message | Sure. In the context of the 'argument' that was being made, that would certainly be consistent. |
