Bill: Justice Reform Acts of 2609

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party of Aldegar

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2610

Description[?]:

Section one addressing the system of courts in the nation must be redrawn. The system will imply for a possibility of appeal in the case of mistrials, unfair trials, and errors in the case, etc. This will give the right to hear a case again and to serve the purpose of a completely fair trial. Section two deals with the archaic policy of the death penalty. Capital punishment is a stone age policy used to treat criminals because of the uncommitment of older society to rehabilitation and to draconian policies. Section three relating the creation of local police give the local areas the responsibilities of defending their own neighborhoods. As well as the national police remaining in place to help a local station in the case of a shortage, strike that leaves only very few cops available, and extra security.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.
