MessageWhat business of the government's is it whether who, how and whether people marry. The government should bow out of this and leave it to private individuals to decide on.

MessageYou're right, the government doesn't give a rat's arse whether someone marries, has a civil union contract or if people simply lives together, that's totally up to them to decide. But we believe to be considered legally married, the marriage or partnership should be recorded in a civil registry, just like births, deaths. This register should be kept by an independent organisation, the government is the best places institution for this. And if people want to make this "official signing ceremony" a celebration out of it, okay by us, if they want to have a religious celebration as well, fine by us too..

Random quote: "The great economic, social and political scientist, Karlstein Metz, accurately predicted over 2,500 years ago that capitalism is doomed to destruction by its inherent weaknesses and contradictions, and must inevitably be replaced by a communist form of social, political and economic organisation." - Friedrich Pfeiffer, former Dorvish politician
