MessageWithout these measures we are basically saying to the world "Invade us!" Our motive is to provide a deterrant and put us on an equal footing with other nations. Note we would never use these weapons unless they were used against us first. There are many more agressive legislative positions we could have chosen but we think this is the best solution.

MessageI can understand that we need this to act as a deterrent for other countries to invade us, therefore I will support this, but will go no further. This legislation is a reasonable compromise
