Bill: Income tax proposal of August 2610

Details

Submitted by[?]: Spenocratic Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2611

Description[?]:

The Spenocratic Party propose to adjust the government's tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Immeressent Likatonian Interregnum. We believe that people should only be taxed of income, not of what they buy (be it essential or luxury) or what their business makes.

This setup will bring in a little bit more revenue while having overall lower rates. By abolishing the sales tax, we should increase sales, allowing for a boost in the economy.

We also like to see a flat income tax so that everyone is on the same playing feild and no one is being penalized for productivity.

Along with this bill is a spending bill. The spending bill will fit the budget whether this passes or not.
