Message | While clearly a great many people of our nation support the armed forces, and for good reason, it is important that we expect high moral standards of our military as well. Land-mines have the ability to kill helpless civilians, which in turn can cost our Army its credibility in any future conflicts with the people of the conflict zone. as a sign of our commitment to humane practices, I propose a full prohibition of land mines. |

Message | If I am not mistaken, land mines are used around our military bases only, correct? I would like the Defense Minister to answer this question. While we see the humane part of this bill, we unfortunately cannot support because we are the sponsors of the current law and of course, support the current law, if it is propoerly handled by our military. Jonathan Keylar National Chairman of the Liberal Party |

Message | The MoD can correct me if im wrong, but from what I have been informed by my military advisors land mines are only used in defensive military operations in a war like situation right now, and when they are used it would only be to protect military positions. I would never allow any branch of our armed forces to deploy land mines in heavily civilian areas where there is a significant risk of them killing civilians instead of the enemy. Signed. President James Mattson |

Message | So, how's the President? We supposed he would be out of the political loop for a while after the Presidential Palace was burned down. Are you going to rebuild it? OOC: Check the forums and maybe you'll know what I am talking about. |
Date | 21:02:49, July 24, 2008 CET | From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | OOC: Shouldnt that be clearified with the president before burning down the presidential palace according to the RP rules? But anyway you cant immobilize or damage my character in any way unless its agreed upon by both so the president will be able to continue on as normal |

Message | OOC: If you read my post I clearly said nothing about harming your character. I even said that it wasn't known whether or not he was inside. I am not saying he cannot keep carrying out his duties. And the Presidential Palace is for everyone's use, not exclusive for you, it is the country's property, not yours, so I can do whatever I want with it. Now, it'll be a different story if it was your paty's headquaters, that I can't burn down unless you agree yo it. I do know howto properly RP an incident. |
Date | 22:27:09, July 24, 2008 CET | From | Democrats | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | ooc: Don't worry LLP, I am sure that as it is the country's property, and we can all do what we like with, that the firefighters managed to save a part of it. |
Date | 22:55:49, July 24, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | OOC: Ohhh, the babies are crying and whining because their palace was burned down. What did they save, the bathroom? |
Date | 22:56:28, July 24, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | OOC: And yes, I can do with it whatever I want because it is Lodamun's property. |
Date | 23:32:18, July 24, 2008 CET | From | Democrats | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | ooc: The babies are crying? LP you are the one acting like a baby here. Accept that the people elected a government that doesn't include you, go on, you can do it. And what, does that mean you own Lodamun? |
Date | 00:03:05, July 25, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | OOC: As far as I know, I can RP whatever I want. Your government is useless, I m sure the people didn't know how much crap your government would be. I haven't seen a post in the forums from either of you. Even the new parties post more than you do. That means that any property of the country can be used in RP by any party of that country. Learn the RP rules and then we can establish a meaningful conversation. |
Date | 05:45:41, July 25, 2008 CET | From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | No government funds will be waisted rebuilding the presidential palace, instead the property will be sold to the highest bidder. OOC: Well you do know the conservatives actually made a post right before your 20 million person protest match and burining down the palace thing. |
Date | 10:56:52, July 25, 2008 CET | From | Democrats | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | ooc; Again, how is the government useless? It has made one of the most radical changes in recent Lodamese history, an implemented the largest tax cut in recent history. This is far from being useless. |
Date | 20:22:44, July 25, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | OOC: Thank you for adding the being dumb part. You should rephrase it like this: Made the worst changes in Lodamese history, made a large budget cut, ignoring our education and health care systems, and have NOT implemented any tax cuts. |
Date | 20:23:41, July 25, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | "OOC: Well you do know the conservatives actually made a post right before your 20 million person protest match and burining down the palace thing." Please just read the entire newspaper, I have made dozens of posts. You should try posting something one day. |
Date | 20:25:27, July 25, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | Adding to the first OOC: Worth looking at. You implemented tax cuts at the cost of our educational and health care system. |
Date | 13:34:34, July 26, 2008 CET | From | Democrats | To | Debating the Land Mines Prohibition Act |
Message | ooc: Tax cuts were implemented after the removal of the state from health and education, which would then allow me to use that tax cut to fund their own health and education for their children. It would be retarded to tax them for something you no longer provide. It is not ignoring health and education, it is recognising that better provision can be provided by the private sector. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
