Message | In previous years, we would vote in favor of this law but due to the ineptitude of the current government, we don't want mistakes to happen at the lower levels as well. |

Message | The current set of laws on many civil issues shows this nations commitment to devolved government and limited government involvement in many aspects of the lives of the people of Lodamun. Sadly adoption is not one of them. Believing that the best government is a restrained government, and further voicing our commitment to devolved authority, we feel it is clear that adoption should no longer be regulated by our central government, and instead left to local government. |

Message | OOC: Almost all of those current laws were changed because I proposed it. IC: We do believe that our local governments can handle this but we also believe that adoption is not something that can be legal in one side of the country and illegal in another. It is simply too important of an issue to have that problem arise in the future should this bill pass. |

Message | Tis funny, the Liberals should effectively govern at least two of the Republics, yet they don't trust themselves to be responsible for further devolved powers!! |

Message | But the other three are not controlled by us. I do trust our party members, we don't trust yours nor LLP's. |

Message | So you'd happily allow us to make laws for all five Republics, but not just for the ones we have a majority in? |

Message | OOC: Why don't you stop with those useless comments. Whenever you get more serious, I'll answer your questions. Just because I am the largest party in some Republics, it doesn't mean I control the legislature. |

Message | ooc: They are actually more valid comments that, for example, saying baby face and knuckle head and asking if one is at high school. It is a serious question. You oppose devolution in this case because you don't want the LLP and CP to have control at lower levels, but a logical response to this is that you have control at lower levels too. One assumes that you and the Working Families, as the oppsoition parties are probably in some sort of colaition in the regions in which your two parties make up the largest block. Liberals, please try and grow up, and think about what you're saying/doing. |

Message | ooc: Yes, in two regions, if you work with the WFP, the Liberals would be in a position to govern. Those are the figures. |
