Message | The 5 republics of Lodamun should have equal standing in this body. |

Message | Lets say region a has 50 million inhabitants, and region b has 100 million inhabitants, If each region had a equal amount of representatives elected into our parliament then a vote from a citizen in region a would count twice as much as a vote from a citizen in region b. OOC: If there was a in game mechanic for having a bicameral parliament where one could be filled based on equal representation and another based on population |

Message | We have to agree with LLP in this case. OOC: Unfortunatelywe don't have a bicameral legislature. I am trying to work something out to see if you can add a second house to Parliament (It is going to be RP only). |

Message | The simple fact of the matter however is that we do have 5 republics which have combined themselves into one. Im simply arguing that the person who should lead the government should be the person who has the broadest support throughout the 5 republics rather than the person who accumulates the most votes in the large provinces. Changing the constitution to achieve this will force our leadership to be more stable and moderate rather than pandering to the beliefs of one or two large republics. |

Message | ooc: You can RP a second chamber, it happened in Kirlawa a while back, however generally it ends up doing nowt, because it is just RP, and has no mechanism for actually having any value. |

Message | We believe that this is a valid proposal, each Republic has equal worth, and this should be reflected in the legislature. |

Message | OOC: I do have an idea of actually make it to have some power. I am still working on it. |

Message | ooc: Cool, but I can tell you now, it won't have any power in the game mechanics, it will purely rely on everyone being willing to go along with the RP. |

Message | OOC; Yes, I know. It will go along with the current game mechanics (election results by region) but leaving room for some variations (the largest party in the lower house may not be the largest party in the upper house). I would appreciate any recommendations. |
