Message | "We are a little bit confused now. Your are talking about removing restrictions, and in the same time you are banning animal use for cosmetic research. NRM is against any unnecessary restrictions in science, but we also support some ethical considerations. Unfortunately, animals must be used for some research, and not to mention that some animals are specially grown for that purposes (rats, mouses). We do not accept the hypocrisy of some animal protection societies that only care for dogs and cats, like that there are no other animals. Therefore, in this moment, we are likely not to accept this proposal." Michael Hanson Minister of Science and Technology |

Message | "Ok, now we aren't so confused :) But, also, in this moment we cannot accept total deregulation of this area. I will put this issue to my advisors and see what they think. I would also like to call a representative from CPR to come and visit me in my office to talk about this issue." Michael Hanson Minister of Science and Technology |
