Bill: Recreational Drug Use Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Traditional Conservative Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2612

Description[?]:

The federal government is forcing everyone to accept the legality of recreational drugs. This is outrageous. I am not even going to go into how bad drugs are and what they do to people, I think you already know that. But we oppose both a federal outlaw of drugs, and a federal law that legalizes all drugs, both take away the right of the people to govern themselves.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.
