Bill: Mosque Monitors!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Telamon National Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2613

Description[?]:

We in the Telamon National Party believe that mosques are being used as training centres for terroist groups and teaching followers to hate non-muslims and to prepare to fight against the kaffir state of Telamon. We Therefore call on the following law to be passed.

1) All preaching and prayers most be spoke in English only, no foreign language may be spoken.
2) There be a permanent independent monitor in the mosques at all times to ensure all activity is legal.
3) Any mosque found breaking these laws or any other laws in place in Telamon will be closed and all assets seized and passed onto the state.

George Clark,
Party Leader,
TNP.

MessageI often wonder why the TNP even bothers coming forward with these proposals.

MessageArticle 1 is the one that made us vote 'NO' on this bill. In Orthodox churches, prays are spoken in Old Church Slavic, so therefore we don't agree in banning any language spoken in any religious object.

MessageMonitors would be useless unless they were fluent in arabic which is why we need preaching to be in English so monitors know what is being said. A Preacher could be calling on their followers to attack non-believers and monitors not have a clue what was being said because they dont understand arabic.
