Voting deadline: April 2119

Description[?]:

Since most citizens receive free healthcare including prescription drugs via the NHS , this bill limits those who receive governement subsidies to low income citizens only. This will save the governement money in healthcare costs while still provding those who can't afford medication the means to do so. Prescription drugs which under the NHS are low in costs and those who can afford the small costs should be able to pay themselves reducing the burden on the government..
1)Those earning an income of 10,000 Crowns or less receive 100% subsidation,
2) those in the 20,000 range receive a 50 % subsidation
3)The upper middle classes and 40,000 and upper class 60,000+ crowns pay their own way and receive no subsidation.
4)The 40,000+ crown earners help subsidise the lower income by paying a 10% tax on every prescription. This tax goes into a national prescription collection. For example, Citizen Joe who makes 50,000 crowns annualy pay's for 2 prescriptions totaling 50.00 crowns. Automatically10% or 5 crowns is added towards a national collection that is used only for this reason. This money cannot be used for any other purpose. This way the burden on the government is eased while the wealthy contribute a small tax subsidie that appears small, but considering all of the prescriptions does add up.

MessageCitizens on a low income deserve government subsidies, not those who can easily afford the cost of prescriptions. This saves money on healthcare costs while still providing the necessary medications for the poor.

MessagePretty much the same as the WSS. We would like the system to be a sliding scale with the poorest getting them for free and higher earners paying progressively more and more.
