MessageOur current system has sought to rectify problems, not add a 'lottery win' element to accidents. All this does, is add a 'punitive' element. We see that as less constructive than making sure the work gets fixed.

Add to which, of course - insurance costs are going to skyrocket...

Doctors won't thank you for this.

MessageInnocente Immeressen released the following response:

"Patients won't thank you either.

For most of them - the only result that this will yield is - they won't be able to afford healthcare, because the doctors will double, triple, quadruple their prices to keep up with the insurance premiums on malpractice policies.

Doctors won't absorb that cost - it'll be passed straight on to the customer.

So - except for the few 'lucky' ones who get rich on malpractice suits... most patients are going to see no benefit, and mounting costs.

So much for "Patients will"."

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.

Random quote: "The decadent international but individualistic capitalism in the hands of which we found ourselves after the war is not a success. It is not intelligent. It is not beautiful. It is not just. It is not virtuous. And it doesn't deliver the goods." - John Maynard Keynes
