Details
Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2616
Description[?]:
"Likatonia is being forced to the brink of destruction by mercenary traitors. It is up to the Sturm und Drang Partei to do what we always do - restore order, and make sure the guilty pay. The people are crying out for us. Every day, we receive millions of pleas from the Faithful, to save us from this Godless new regime, and it's anti-Likatonian ideas. The People need us. The poor need us. The believers, labouring under this persecution, need us. It means some harsher measures than we would prefer. But, we must do what we must. For The People. For Immeressen (peace be unto Him) For Likatonia!!!" --Innocente Immeressen, at a St Vodinsburg rally. ADDITIONAL: "It stands to reason that, being an Immeressent nation, Likatonia must uphold standards. Obviously, citizens of Likatonia must never be forced to deal with concepts like persecution from their government, unfair internment - or the religious barbarism of the Interloper Regime. Consequently, we feel it is necessary to bring forward a Constitutional Amendment that will limit CITIZENSHIP, to followers of Immeressen (the One True God). In order to stop the persecution that Immeressent Likatonians are now feeling, it may be necessary to occassionally torture or enslave NON-citizens (who, obviously, will be non-Immeressent, and thus - worth less than REAL Likatonians. To further this end, we call for ALL restrictions upon the police force to be removed - they should be allowed to detain, arrest, question, interrogate these lawbreakers without limit. Supsicion should be grounds enough - if they are suspicious of you, you must have been doing something to cause that suspicion. I know it's tempting to think of non-Immeressents as people, too - but we must resist such childish sympathies, for the sake of a Brighter Tomorrow, under Immeressen". --Avar Akkad Avara Immeressen, unveiling further extensions to the New World Order platform to a huge crowd of party faithful. This presentation is now available on freely-distributed cassette, along with some of Avar Akkad Avara's other rousing rallies. |

Message | "We have nothing to say to the Red Tories. Their agenda, and the agendas they have supported in this 'new regime' have treated the People of Likatonia like pawns to be discarded. We have watched civil rights be snatched away. We have watched the poor be robbed of all assistance, and every basic dignity. We have watched religion be ignored, ridiculed... and finally, attacked - by this interloper movement. We have seen this interloper regime take back rights of sexuality, of free expression, and of female empowerment. The difference between those interlopers, and the SuDP, is that the SuDP has always supported the people, NOT corporate self-interest. And - when it comes to elections, The People always come back to US, again and again. Because we stand for what they believe in. We help the poor. We help the citizens. You say we disgust you? We say YOU disgust us. Your interloper regime is corrupt and evil. You sell Likatonia for profit. Well, we shall not stand by and watch corporate pimps whore our fair nation. Your time is coming, interlopers. Consider yourself warned." --Avar Akkad Avara Immeressen, in his Commencement Speech to the Axis Mundi Sturm und Drang Partei. |

Message | You say this while trying to pas a bill permitting slavery. Garbage. You care NOTHING of the people. We are here to help them. To liberate them! The new era is coming. An era free of communist scum like that of the SuDP. The people shall decide what they want. But in all honesty, slavery and torture? How can you try to pass this whilst you preach that you are in fact for the people? Freedom is coming quickly. Try not to stand in its way, alright? ;) |

Message | This must be one of those satirical bills. Gotta love the sense of humor of the Sturm und Drang Comedians. I got a good joke: Let's oultaw the free market! Oh wait, that's an old one..... |

Message | "The Red Tories have jumped to conclusions. We do not intend to recommend torture or slavery for law-abiding citizens. You've started from a false premise. This bill is not complete, and when it is, it will contain clauses that make this a perfectly reasonable response." --Avar Akkad Avara Immeressen, Arch Chancellor of Sturm und DRang. |

Message | It is perfectly reasonable. It basically makes it a crime to oppose the will of Immeressen with your ridiculous so-called secularisms, and your insults thrown in His (Almighty) face. "Sure, there's the possibility of a small amount of spontaneous random arrests, torture, imprisonment and slavery... but it's not against believers, so it's okay." --Avar Akkad Avara Immeressen, addressing the Convocation, May 2615. |

Message | "We don't see the problem here. We've watched the Red Tories side with the other Interloper Regime parties on bills that - quite sincerely - turned our stomachs. So - rather than watch the rights of good honest Likatonians be torn to pieces, we're forcing a harder line. And - apparently - Likatonia likes it. If you think us monsters, look to your conscience. We're the monsters YOU created. The Red Tories are the ONE party of this new batch we might have been able to find common ground with - we like their stance on human rights, especially where it distances them from other parties - like gay rights. But, so be it. The Interloper Regime wanted a storm, and it's here." --Avar Akkad Avara Immeressen, Sturm und Drang Crucible, July 2615 |
