| Background: The Namviet colony requires a highway system linking it with the Malivian colony in the north. This will assist in shiping, travel, and other comercial activities between Jelbania and Malivia. Malivia is an ally of the Kennedy family and thus an ally of the Jelbanian Monarchy. However, this highway will slice through Hutori territory that is to the north of Namviet and to the south of the Malivian colony. Hutori is a military opponent of Jelbania concerning our colonies, this highway system may provoke a military response from Hutori and thus war. Article 1: The National Assembly hereby authorizes a highway linking Namviet to the Malivia colony in Vascania. Article 2: The National Assembly hereby authorizes military force to protect this highway and all Jelbanian citizens that may use this highway. |
