Bill: Disarmament of Weapons of Mass Destruction

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Party for Equality

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2121

Description[?]:

The LPE periodically puts forward a bill proposing nuclear and biochemical disarmament. We feel this not only to be our duty as a member of the International WMD Abolition Movement, but also as citizens of Likatonia and of the international community. We aim to make the world a safer and more humane place, and to set the example to our fellow nations here in Likatonia.

We realise that this time it has little hope of passing, but beg our fellow senators to consider the devastating and torturous results when such weapons are deployed, as well as the huge amounts of national resources squandered on their construction and maintainence.

MessageAs we oppose all 4 parts, splits are non necessary for us. We need to retain the flexability to defend ourselves as necessary.

MessageThe AAP regretfully also has to follow the path beaten by the RLP. We cannot support the removal of (possibly) our only REAL deterrent, in the face of armed nations on all sides.
