Message | We believe that this proposal deserves further discussion. At the moment RDF is rather sceptical, but we need an extensive discussion. (not to mention that puting this proposal to vote has no meaning any more - elections are in 9 months, and there's no time for extensive discussion before the elections). |

Message | This doesnt mean that each ballot is equally valued - voters in smaller states will then carry more sway and thus will have more say in determining elections. Our current system guarantees, as best it can, that each vote has the same value - that is it satisfies the one vote, one value principle. If we were aiming for a fully federal system then maybe we would support, but we are skeptical that parties will represent the interests of their state, rather than of their party. |

Message | It is true, in this one-house system, an equal representation principle cannot guarantee equal value of vote. |

Message | We agree with the RDF. One vote, one value. |

Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
