Message | Our citizens take Tukarali law with them, wherever they are in the world. They must be tried before a Tukarali court for any transgressions that occur, and must be punished by Tukarali authorities. That is part of the citizenship agreement, that we protect our citizens from foreign powers, but they are subject to our rules. |

Message | Definately opposed. I agree we should (diplomatically, judicially, or maybe even financially if needed) support Tukuralian citizens accused of a crime abroad, but law applies to territory: If you're in Al'Badara you have to keep to Al'Badaran laws, if you're in Vanuku you have to obbey Vanukun law. You cannot drive 130km/hr in a country where only 100km/h is allowed "because we're allowed to at home". You have to adapt. That's logical. We expect foreigners coming to Tukarali to obbey our laws as well. Other countries have different laws, some things that are legal here might not be there (or vice versa), which makes a Tukuralian court could not punish them because it's legal here, they have nothing to base their judgement on (Tukuralian courts only recognise the authority of Tukuralian law, our judges cannot possibly know all law books from each and every nation), nor what the punishment should be. |

Message | It is one thing to be tried when they have not returned, but quite another for Tukarali to send a citizen overseas after they have reached our borders. As long as they are within Tukarali, they should be allowed to stay here. |
