Bill: Income tax proposal of December 2619
Details
Submitted by[?]: Revolutionary Gathering of Beiteynu
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2620
Description[?]:
I feel that if we switch to this income tax program we will be able to have more money to finance social service programs to help our people. As a moderate member of the RGB, I believe funding social services will help some of our more....extreme members see the government in a more positive light. If this passes, I will propose some funding increases that will still leave us with a massive amount of surplus. --David Silver Minister of Finance |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
