Message | I agree with the current proposal. |
Date | not recorded | From | New Democrats of Rutania | To | Debating the Imperial Cabinet Proposal of March 2041 |
Message | Why should the third largest party in government be the head of state and government? New Democrats are disappointed that the SDP chose to accept this proposal rather than a more ideologically compatible coalition. Last cabinet-formation process, we fought to have the SDP included in the cabinet; our proposal gave your party significant representation. If you vote in favor of this rather than the LAP proposal, it will be remembered. |

Message | There's a difference of only 2 seats, so we don't see why the Imperial Party shouldn't get the head of government position. They offered us that position BTW, but we declined. We're more than happy with the positions we have now in this proposal because it gives us two positions social democrats traditionally care about a lot: health and social services, and education. |

Message | The LAP proposal gives you those positions as well! Don't assume we'll forget about this either, SDP. You have no apparent reason to choose the Imperial Party's cabinet over ours. Not only does our cabinet provide you with the two seats which you apparently covet, it gives you many more besides. And though we may disagree on some economic issues, I'd imagine you will find more common ground with the LAP and ND than you do with the imperials. |

Message | "We're more than happy with the positions we have now in this proposal because it gives us two positions social democrats traditionally care about a lot: health and social services, and education." You're most aligned with my party in terms of legislative voting; you may have agreed with the LAP less than the Imperial Party, but you've had less experience with Imperials. It is very disappointing that your party chose to ally with an outwardly conservative cabinet; you will no longer be considered an ideologically compatible coalition partner by the New Democrats. |

Message | I don't think it's going to pass anyway, unless the Heritage Party wakes up soon. |

Message | "It is very disappointing that your party chose to ally with an outwardly conservative cabinet" Cabinets with both left wing and right wing parties exist around the world. Anyway, we voted in favour of the Imperial Party's proposal because our party feels it's time for economic reforms. And we feel we can best accomplish those reforms without the LAP for the time being. |

Message | *economic and social reforms |

Message | good luck trying to make your reforms without the LAP. We're the largest party in parliament, and it seems we're fairly closely aligned with new democrats. I wouldn't count on the conservatives supporting your economic or social reforms either. |
Date | not recorded | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Imperial Cabinet Proposal of March 2041 |
Message | The reforms mainly include more economic regulation and increasing government effort in the social domain. Not something I'd think you'd be in favour of. |
