Bill: New GM Food Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Blobs

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2119

Description[?]:

This act will make it so that GM foods are legal to produce and sell but that they must be clearly labelled (as with pesticide containing foods) so that people can choose whether to buy them or not. For GM food to be sold and/or produced it must be from crops that have been shown to be safe to both the environment and to humans and animals that consume them. Any that do not meet these criteria may not be sold in any Hobrazian store.
