Date | 21:43:07, August 20, 2008 CET | From | Traditional Conservative's Party | To | Debating the Demilitarization Act |
Message | The TCP beleive that these articles would threaten the security of our glorious nation. However, we do agree to articles 2 and 6. The Traditional Council of Elders is still debating our stance on Article 3. |
Date | 15:26:45, August 21, 2008 CET | From | Hōōkai | To | Debating the Demilitarization Act |
Message | We believe that a professional army of volunteers is much more useful than one of mass trained drafted citizens. Moreover, the overmilitarization imposed by our current mandatory military service and the part played by the military in supporting the civilian police force is rather threatenning to our nation's democracy. And the use of mass destruction weapons is a result of imperialism rather than the need to defend the state from foreign threats. |
Date | 23:06:27, August 21, 2008 CET | From | Traditional Conservative's Party | To | Debating the Demilitarization Act |
Message | Well I don't know about my other fellow parties, but I quite like being an imperialist. I am a member of our military (rank of Captain) and my men find this bill very disturbing. They believe that what you support will threaten the security and peace of our nation. Siegmund Ulrich von Scharnhorst Prince Regent of Fehmarn Chancellor of the TCP |
