MessageThere was a very well thought out discussion about this before, and we had previously come to a general consensus that the military should be allowed to help the civilian police force in times of national emergency. Removing this ability to assist the civilian police force simply neuters their ability to properly deal with threats that are beyond their scope of power.

What would the solution be, if a tank appeared with revolutionary's markings, and started destroying a section of a downtown city? As there is no declaration of war from another country, our military should not be allowed to help stop this threat? Instead, you're going to ask that our civilian police force, ill equipped for these situations (As well as scores of others), should act in a manner which endangers their lives and has very little likelihood of solving the problem?

We find this reasoning illogical, and irresponsible.

MessageActually, I believe a law was passed that neuters the police force's weaponry capabilities. I'd have to double-check to see that it passed, however.

Message@DSP: Whether or not they have anti-tank missiles is moot, the fact remains that should the civilian police force ever be overwhelmed then there is no secondary force available. If a person or group of people were capable of overwhelming the police forces of Sekowo, they would be free to do anything they chose. Doesn't that seem just a little bit unwise?
