Message | A cut in taxes of 2% in all income brackets excpet the enw top bracket, whose taxes remain the same. The new income from corporate taxes has given us a very large surplus, which we can easily afford to return to the people in the form of a tax cut. |

Message | The current situation requires about 12,000,000,000 LOD to be collected through the income tax. http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=21623 Under this plan, everyone will be taxed less. |

Message | No, we can't support a flat tax. We'll take our chances with this one in the Assembly. |

Message | You cant support a flat tax? Why not? Under the one we propose, everyone would be taxed less than under this plan. Is your goal to penalize the rich or to make the plan fair to the poor? Your plan: Earn less than 200, pay taxes of 3% on everything over 136 My plan: Pay no taxes on the first 200 LOD earned. We deem that this value corresponds roughly to essentials(PCL and I worked this out from what we have available at the time) Your plan: Earn less than 271, pay taxes of 3% [on all but 136](max 135). My plan: Earn less than 271, pay taxes of 8% [on only the last 71 above 200](max 71). Your plan: Earn more than 271, pay taxes of more than 8%, from 13% to 30%. This is punitively punishing ability and unnecessary. |

Message | We can only refer you, dear Remnants, to previous debates on the flat tax. Like it most honest advocates, we do not see the flat tax as "fair" in any way. |

Message | However, if you wish to vote against a tax cut, then do feel free! |

Message | We vote against a tax cut which favors some segments of the population over others. Citizens should be equal before the law. |
