Refusing to allow private clinics within our borders is absolutely preposterous. Although we need to offer some sort of free health care to our citizens, private industry can benefit the health industry and offer alternatives to the public system. It is likely that these private clinics will eventually become more specialized, and can establish Lodamun as a leading health-research state. Also, clinics can be developed to more accurately serve people with special interests, such as religion, who may object to standard health procedures. |

Message | It should be our people's choice if they wish to be over-charged. There is no reason to totally ban private health centers when we have already guarenteed that all of our people will get at least some form of health care. When it comes down to it, if I get cancer, I would much prefer to be overcharged at a private center that has a vested interest in making sure that I improve, than at a public health center where I'm just one of several million. |
