| Current: The government subsidises the cost of pharmaceutical drugs for people on low incomes. Alternative: The government provides free pharmaceutical drugs for people on low incomes. As we know, pharmaceutical drugs are expensive. The working class in our country does not make a very large income/year, so buying these drugs would put a big toll on the money they have, even with subsidized costs. This can lead to them avoiding a purchase, thus lowering the health rate in our country. We need to act to keep our country at it's healthiest, so we should supply pharmaceutical drugs to those on low incomes for free, to take some financial stress off of them. |
