Bill: Anarch Anakrousite Reform Bill - Farming Subsidies
Details
Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2120
Description[?]:
The AAP believes that the current law is too lax. It allows some 'farming families' to 'take it easy', if they so choose, in exchange for a kind of 'default wage'. That seems to us, to be discouraging Likatonian enterprise. Further, by subsidising farming 'families' - the current legislation is actively discriminating against cooperatives of OTHER kinds than familial. Thus - the AAP suggests a 'stewardship' Bill. Those who farm a non-profit crop, can, instead, turn to something environmentally 'conscious', and be 'subsidised' for helping the environment. Or they can choose to embrace market forces and grow a more profitable crop... the choice is up to the individual or group. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
