| The Anarch Anakrousite Party finds it peculiar that Likatonia has an absolute ban on the ownership of 'wild animals'. It seems to make no sense for several reasons, not least being the fact that ALL domestic breeds must have derived from 'wild' animals at some point... Also, feeding hedgehogs in your own garden, or keeping a box turtle, could be considered criminal offenses - as the law stands, at the moment. To this end, the AAP suggests something a little more constructive, to whit: a list of 'dangerous' animals that require 'special' arrangements for public safety, and a 'carte-blanche' on 'non-dangerous' animals. Obviously - this is NOT intended to supercede legislation that prohibits keeping a certain type of animal, otherwise... thus - this law cannot be used to justify keeping an ENDANGERED animal, if the law says it is illegal to do that. |
