Message"What is the justification for this? You have butchered our military's budget and propose to waste hundreds of millions of Crowns on the Ministry of Finance, whose functions are almost entirely bureaucratic and administrative. I also question the proposed cut to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. Why raise the budget for the bureaucratic Ministry of Finance and then slash the budget for ministries that fulfil roles that average Hulstrians benefit from? I can only conclude successor in the Finance Ministry obviously has not thought out his policies and considered their consequences."

Message"We will hasten to point out that we do not control the Ministry of Finance, as that is controlled by the FP. However, we will defend out position as follows.
The Ministry of Finance depends on cash injections by the government into such areas as bureaucracy and administrative issues to function properly and give the required boost to the nation's economy. Without it our economy will become stagnant and dissolve under its own weight.
Your second complaint, the cut in the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, is hardly based on anything. The cut was very small, some of the few regretable losses to make up for the boost in internal affairs and agriculture. The cut was so small that you have no standing to oppose on this minor matter."

Message"We agree with the HNP. Our national defense must not be slashed as proposed by the PC. Also, the cuts in Foriegn Affairs will affect our ability to maintain our embassies and our ambassadors. We cannot allow this to happen. We do, however, compliment Mr. Forge in being pro-active in cutting the amount of money given to the Head of Government."

Message"Seeing as in the last half a century we have not been involved in any war, and that our relations abroad have fallen to a standstill, we have seen no reason to maintain industries otherwise defunct. The defence budget is still quite high simply for defence, as the possibility of an offensive is very far from viable considering our lack of close ties to foreign nations. This also reflects on the foreign ministry cut, where do we maintain our ministries? What do they give us? Nothing, and until this industry expands there is no reason for the huge budget given to it initially."
