Message | While all parties are in agreement that the people need to be well taken care of, it is the opinion of the Christian League that the current minimum wage is simply too high, and as a result the increasing private sector will fail to utilize labor opportunities, leading to unemployment. The Christian League has focused its tax cuts on the lowest brackets, and eliminated taxation for millions of the poorest citizens entirely. We believe that the free public social services, combined with tax cuts on the most in need will allow us to lower the minimum wage to a more sustainable level and encourage lower unemployment, while still providing for the well being of the average working class citizen. We therefore ask all parties to seriously consider what is in the best interest of the working class, and vote in favor of this bill. |

Message | The poor are paying more money in income taxes than ever (OOC: You believe whatever you want to. I won't argue with you.) They deserve to get as much money as possible from their work. This bill is only in the interest of big businesses, not on the interest of the working class. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
