Bill: Diplomatic Delegation to the disputed region of Western Hutori

Voting deadline: March 2639
Description[?]:
After the annexation of Western Hutori by Davostan, following a conflict between the two sovereign states, I propose that the government of Telamon respond in three ways: i) Condemn the fighting on both sides, both the governments of Athlorcaea-Hutori and Davostan. ii) Send a neutral diplomatic delegation from Telamon to Western Hutori iii) Set up a plebiscite (or referendum) which will ask the populations of Falristan, Lagard and Adelia whether they would rather belong to Athlorcaea-Hutori or Davostan. In doing this Telamon has responded to the crisis by condemning violence between sovereign states on the continent of Macon, acted as a neutral mediator between two states, and also acted on behalf of the people of the disputed regions by giving them a voice to express their right to self-determination. I urge all parties, left and right, to unite under this proposal as the only reasonable, democratic and responsible solution to this most grave state of affairs at our very borders.
