MessageHow dare Keymon make such false claims about their television industry being better than ours? Keymon needs to realize that it is Lodamun that is the greatest investment haven in Terra.

we certainly see no reason to give a blanket military commitment to defend them. Respect their neutrality, yes. Promise to "smack down" anyoner Keymon picks a fight with? No.

The Greens propose that the Citizens Assembly show our friendship with Keymon through a simple resolution stating:

"Lodamun recognizes the neutrality and independence of Keymon, and agrees that neither country will commit military aggression against the other."

Are you saying you will vote against because we support? Or only that you oppose but brought it up anyway?

Stomm's focus seems to be on television manufacturing. Regardless of where we think the greatest investment haven on terra is, Keymon's GDP per capita is 75885.00 LOD, while ours is 2565.44 LOD.

Our gross domestic product is 3.55 times as great as Keymon, our population is 105.037 times as great as Keymon.
Our average tax rate, taking all taxes into account, is 38.26%, higher than every other country except Kirlawa, Kalistan, and New Endralon. Keymon's is the lowest, at 2.08%. Our taxes are over 18 times as high as Keymon's.

MessageDon't undercut our rhetoric. There is NOWHERE better to invest than Lodamun! Anyway, our taxes pay for services to businesses, and they would be lower if the Greens had our way. We believe the Lodamun Advantage (educated workforce, strong services, etc) makes this a better place to invest than Keymon. They can disagree, of course.

Against the treaty, however, for the reasons stated: we will not give an automoatic guarantee to defend another country, unless they are making a reciprocal guarantee to us. The treaty is enormously beneficial to Keymon, but delivers no benefits to Lodamun. Why sign it? We can't think of a single reason.

MessageThe reason is that, a neutral Keymon, holds enormous prestige as an internationaly neutral nation. We are likly to be called in as arbitrators to solve many problems. We will most certainly look favorably on a nation which promises to help us remain neutral.

MessageWhich is what Lodamun should do, as we suggested. And all we should do. We intend to vote against this treaty, and offer an assembly resolution as we suggested earlier.

Surely the Keymon Libertarian Alliance is not suggesting that in mediations undertaken by Keymon, there will be a bias shown in favour of those countries that have signed its treaty? If so, then any mediation would hardly be fair or neutral.
