Date | 03:00:33, September 25, 2008 CET | From | Normand Pluralist Party | To | Debating the DSP.293.2642 |
Message | It is rediculous for Sekowo to recognize marraiges which violate Sekowan law, such as the marriage between a man and a chair. |
Date | 03:14:31, September 25, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the DSP.293.2642 |
Message | It's ridiculous and unacceptable for the government to be interfering in the personal lives of the people. If someone wants to marry a chair, then it's not the governments place to interfere. |
Date | 03:19:14, September 25, 2008 CET | From | Normand Pluralist Party | To | Debating the DSP.293.2642 |
Message | When the government is giving that individual the tax benefits of providing for two people, then yes, it IS the government's place to interfere. |
Date | 05:01:06, September 25, 2008 CET | From | Sekowan Democrats | To | Debating the DSP.293.2642 |
Message | We cannot support article 2 for the same reasons the NPP has stated, it's just asking to be exploited. |
Date | 06:53:59, September 25, 2008 CET | From | Imperial Pluralism Party | To | Debating the DSP.293.2642 |
Message | Although our party leadership agrees with the NPP and SD, our constituents are clamoring for this bill to pass. |
Date | 14:12:13, September 25, 2008 CET | From | Sekowan Independent Party | To | Debating the DSP.293.2642 |
Message | Not only does this bill open many doors for exploitation, it is moving adultery in Sekowo from "no government policy" to "government supported". What sort of message do we intend to give? Not only can you go out of country to marry any person, or persons, you so desire but you can now cheat on them with ABSOLUTELY NO PUNISHMENT. For a party so concerned with taxes, the DSP fails to recognize that inherent cost this bill will incur. That goes without mentioning the emotional and legal damage that will come from this. We cannot ever support this in good conscience. |
