Message | I only really looked at the articles at the bottom, those which actually affect our laws and nowhere does it insist that education must be free. I concede that it does mention free education in the text above (something which i didn't pick up on when i skim read it, anyway, if you feel that it does affect us then i will withdraw the treaty, if it is something which we can reinterpret (as it does not compel us to change the law) then we should ratify it. |

Message | ah.....i see what you meant. But the wording, suggests it is only free up to puberty ages. I'm sure we can change that, as it is a minor thing, that does not affect it so much. |

Message | it is minor and as it is only in the text and not the actual legal articles that would define our laws i think we can safely ignore/change it |

Message | i'll put this to a vote now anyway. The part about free education is small and will not affect are laws. It does not define what 'elementary and fundamental' stages are and we can argue that the article is designed to protect the rights of disadvantaged children to have an education, which can be safeguarded through any voucher system and so for them education will be free. Therefore i suggest that we ratify this treaty. |

Message | We will vote no because it wont allow torture, text does not affect our country that does not exist its the actuall laws that matter. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
