Bill: Health Care Efficiency Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Alliance Socialiste Conservateur
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2644
Description[?]:
Currently, the National Healthcare Policy of the Royaume Rildanorienne states that "health care is entirely public and free; private clinics are banned." We hope to maximize healthcare efficiency by allowing for limited private clinics which will give citizens more choices in regards to healthcare. Thus, we propose that our national healthcare policy be changed to the following: "There is a free public health care system and a small number of private clinics, which are heavily regulated to ensure they treat their patients well and provide good care." |

Message | The same effect can be achieved by a simple government initiative of franchising health care services to public initiative. Regional and local needs would thus be served of a variety of options while ensuring that healtcare remains in the hands of those whose interest lies with health, and not with profit. |
