Message | It is clear that you have no clue about this treaty. How can a country recognize itself? That's dumb. The purpose of this bill is to see how many countries recognize the Aldurian Confederation, nothing else. |
Date | 00:20:24, October 01, 2008 CET | From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Treaty Withdrawl |
Message | It's obvious only 2 countries support this government. -Ours and Lourenne. Why do we favor a particular regime in Alduria? Why should we involve ourselves in internal politics of other nations? I ask the Liberals once again to engage in useful debate rather than personal attacks. |
Date | 02:43:13, October 01, 2008 CET | From | Holy Eliyahu Confession | To | Debating the Treaty Withdrawl |
Message | The Foreign Minister agrees with the sentiment that this treaty serves no purpose but to bring Lodamun into conflict with other nations, and looks forward to Lodamuns withdraw from it. Jesse Warzybok Foreign Minister |

Message | This treaty is about recognizing the legitimate and democratic government of Alduria. Just because not too many countries have ratified it, it doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. Conformity is never the solution to anything. We would ask the Foreign Affairs Minister to explain his comments. How can this bring us into a conflict? Has it brought us in to a conflict since we ratified it? |
Date | 03:29:49, October 01, 2008 CET | From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Treaty Withdrawl |
Message | Why is this treaty necessary? If this is a legitimate government, that decision should be made as it is with all other nations - inside the foreign Ministry and not in a treaty. |
Date | 04:47:36, October 01, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Treaty Withdrawl |
Message | Read above for the explanation of what this treaty is about. While we understand and know that the Foreign Affairs Ministry reserves the right to recognize a government as legitimate, the Senate also reserves that power. This treaty shows the world that our country, officially, recognizes the government of Alduria. |

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval. |
