Bill: Confederacy Creation Act II
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2121
Description[?]:
The Freedom Party hereby motions that the Republic of Aloria change its name to the Confederated Regions of Aloria. We are intent upon this change, and it is unlikely that we shall ever abandon this cause. Our reasons are as follows: 1) Most powers have been devolved unto the regions and therefore we are merely changing our name to fit what we are. 2) The name sounds cooler 3) We will be the first official Confederacy in Terra. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
