Message | Sent to vote too soon, hence why it lacks a title and description. Title: Economic Reform Act Nov 2645 Description: Article 1: To help address the -5BN budget deficit, without placing the burden on the tax payer in the form of an increase in income tax. Article 2: Allowing for competition and thus economic efficiency, providing the best possible service to consumers while protecting the most vulnerable of society with the help of subsidies. Article 3: We do not believe nationalization is a black or white issue. While we support and oppose it in different cases, we fail to see the sense in the government owning an industry if most of the decision making power lies outside the country. We feel this article corrects that problem. Article 4: Our people should be free to spend their money however they like. Article 5: Preventing the exploitation of workers, while lessening min-wage induced unemployment. Article 6: Allowing our citizens to do what they wish with their bodies, free from government regulation. Article 7: Minimizing the role of the state. As I said, this was sent to vote too soon, so we are willing to negotiate a better deal particularly with articles: 3, 6 and possibly 1. |
