We feel that given the nation grants our fine young citizens a chance to become educated that these same fine young citizens can help others less fortunate through civilian national service. Message | This bill proposes the enslavement off our citizens! No person should be forced to work. |

Message | While the intent is noble, making volunteer work compulsory is illogical and the quality of the work will be so low, we would prefer the situation we have now |

Message | I agree with the two replies. |

Message | The government pays for their education and yet they are not required to contribute to the economy in return? We find this a little confusing coming from the socialists who demand that property can be taken by the government at whim. I think you will find that where civilian work (this does not mean the voluntary sector) is compulsory for a year or so then the work quality is high if they understand that after it comes the chance to take a degree. This way those who are unwilling to work do not take degrees simply because they are rich. |

Message | I find it laughable that you appear to be suggesting that after a person's education they sit back and do nothing. |

Message | We consider that the term "professionalism", when applied to armed forces, is too often an euphomism for "brutality." This is a purposeless constraint on individual liberty. |

Message | Oh yeah, I imagine giving the government the right to use its citizens for one year is such a victory for liberties and civil rights |

Message | I find it sad that the parties beleive the rich students should be able to simply walk away with government eduation and not have to contribute anything more to society if they do not wish to. |

Message | If they're rich, then they'll damn well contribute a very large proportion of their wealth through taxation. |
