Note:
I've given up one of my seats to give SD a seat.

MessageWe wonder if the AUP is aware that the DSP has chosen not to award it one of the seats it should have received? We also find it very interesting that the DSP claims to have "given up" the seat whic the Sekowan Democrats have earned for themselves.

We shall abstain until the AUP verbally acknowledges that they realize this cabinet will result in one fewer cabinet positions than they are entitled to, and that they accept this.

MessageThe AUP controls 10.33% of the legislature which equals out to 1.3 seats and since it's not above 1.5 is rounded to 1.

If anything MTPU would deserve a second seat as they control 10.43% of the legisltaure, however we doubt the NPP would have said anything in that case.

Further more should the NPP openly abstain (as opposed to abstaining do to inactivity) then we shall not include them in the next attempt.

OOC:
The second part was'nt mean to be included, as it was part of the first draft before I fixed a number error.
However CP should have only gotten 2 seats, but because we had a situation where one seat was essentially split I gave him the extra.

MessageYou're correct; I was looking at the wrong row: this deprives the MTPU of one of their seats, and as such, is illegal without their explicit permission. As they have not voted yet, we shall assume that, given this information, a favorable vote is explicit permission. As such, we shall vote for the cabinet. If the MTPU objects, however, we shall change our vote to respect the law.

This cabinet proposal, without explicit permission from the MTPU, is illegal.

Correct allocation:
DSP = 3.10 seats (3)
CP = 2.04 seats (2)
NPP = 1.99 seats (2)
MTPU = 1.43 seats (2)
AUP = 1.34 seats (1)
SGP = 1.08 (1)
SIP= 1.04 (1)
SD = 0.98 (1)

MessageMtpu controls only 11% which translates to 1.43 seats, which is rounded to 1, not 2.

MessageBeing in good standing with the DSP we are willing to see this as simply an error on their part and not intentional. We will vote yes for now in hopes of getting a cabinet passed quickly (for once).

OOC: I might have objected, but I do get my favorite seat, defense, so I'll let it slide this time.

MessageThe extra seat goes to the party with the highest remainder, DSP. That would be the MTPU.
