MessageFood and Agriculture Cuts

Following the enactment of the Farming Act, and its proposal to discontinue state-owned farms and subsidies, we believe a significant reduction in Food & Agriculture spending is in order. The 60% decrease proposed could be described as the very minimum the new legislation would affect Food & Agriculture spending.

Infrastructure and Transport Cuts

Following the enactment of the Second Reform Act, we propose a 15% reduction in Infrastructure and Transport spending is more than justifiable due to the high costs of power generation, maintenance, price subsidies etc. that taxpayers no longer have to fit the bill for in both Infrastructure (public power stations) and Transport (public transport) subcategories.

Trade & Industry

Following the privatization and changes of legislation concerning certain entities in the public sector
(reference Business and the Economy Act [spending in this category was not changed after its enactment]) we believe the proposed 25% reduction in Trade & Industry spending is necessary to prevent government waste.
