Message | I disagree. Smoking in public locations is a health risk. We just don't want to have to deal with more people comming into are medical system because of smoking related diseases, and then on top of that they've never smoked. Second hand smoke kills almost as much as normal smoking does, and it's not even there fault. So the New Hosengott Party does not support this in the least. |

Message | Our statistics show second hand smoke doesn't kill as much as normal smoking. We also are perplexed as to how people couldn't be allowed to smoke just walking on the streets... Certainly this freedom should be allowed. |

Message | Second hand smoke can be a problem. |
Date | 23:27:33, October 10, 2005 CET | From | United Centrists | To | Debating the Freedom to Smoke Act |
Message | We agree that second hand smoke is a problem, but do not believe that it is as dangerous normal smoking. Though we originally proposed not allowing citizens to smoke in public, we may have been a tad bit strict. Perhaps eventually we will be able to designate certain public areas as free from smoking, but until then we will support the SCCP's proposal. |
Date | 23:31:14, October 10, 2005 CET | From | National Socialists | To | Debating the Freedom to Smoke Act |
Message | We think the United Centrists hit the nail on the head with designating public areas to be smoke-free, the options of this proposal are quite limited by design. This is why we voted yes as a sign of support. |
