MessageNo, both ideas are silly.

One will destroy the enviroment, and the other is pointless. If they are not dangerous, why can't someone own it?

MessageGovernment will supply garbage disposal to the general public, and enforce strict dumping guidlines on private companies.
This will ensure consistent services to the public, while allowing industry to dispose of their waste within the bouds of environmental regulations/
Animals caught in the wild may not be kept as pets if they can survive in the wild. Any wild animal that cannot survive if released must be turned over to a trained professional who will attempt to rehabilitate it.
This will limit the transmition of diseases like rabies and lyme disease. It will also protect neighbourhoods from attacks resulting from ill advised treatment or care of wild animals.

Message1. Yes that would work, but it is far better to leave it to a private group. They will search for alternative ways to remove it quicker, and better. All strict regulations will do, is make it harder for us to grow our economy, while they worry about the garbage. Contracting licensed companies, will ensure the waste is rid of more properly.

2. Technically that can be said for any animal. But the point is, can they leave a normal life in a home as well? And more then likely the pet shops remove and provide medicine for diseases.

As long as we regulate, which animals are safe to have, i see no reason why not to let our citizens have them. Save for the fact they might be endangered.

If it's from a pet shop it generally isn't wild. Wild animals are born in the wild, that's why we call them wild. Wild rabbits are dangerous (they carry several diseases that are easily communicable to humans) while domesticated ones aren't nearly so. Thus, we feel that animals born in the wild should not be taken from the wild because Johnny wants a deer.
